Design of a thermal storage evaporator

I need to design panels containing phase change substance similar to water for storing refrigeration effect. Essentially, it would be a cuboid compartment of small thickness (5 cm-10 cm) containing the PCM with cooling coils passing through it. The refrigerant I am using is R22. What handbooks (if any) should I refer to in order to design such an exchanger?

Let us say that I assume a dimension of the compartment and diameter of coils (made of copper), what methodology is to be followed to parameters like coil length, pitch, no. of rows, mass flow rate of refrigerant.

If you need assistance with designing a unit, speak to Beehive Coils on 01638 664134. Their technical director is Duncan Mills who should be able to sort if this is still needed. Hope this helps!
