    dry air for pressure test



    is there any harms to refrigeration system to use dry air for pressure test instead of Nitrogen gas? I've doubt on it but I've got no related info. Welcome your input

    Found this in "The news" :Combining an oxidizing gas, such as oxygen or air, with an HCFC or HFC refrigerant under pressure can result in a fire or explosion.

    Refrigeration oil + high pressure oxygen = explosion
