Re: Hitach on one control
hitatchi controllers are daisy chained at each indoor- trace the wiring from the controller to the 1st indoor, think its yellow plug in,blue plug out
, power it down.cut the plugs and joint the cables and fit ur new controller
if its a 2 pipe then the controller has to be in the same mode as the other controller
if its 3 pipe then no worries

Re: Hitach on one control
Hi guys the indoor units are RPI-1.5 FSGE it's on a 2 pipe system I haven't got the out door model with me , yeah I have a yellow plug which goes on the control and the other end is a blue which plugs into blue connection cn13 on the indoor pcb . I tryed changing the blue dail which you chose the unit number. But ended up with F35 fault so but all back, I've seen on the control you have to cut out out jb01 I think .so let me get this right if I but the new control blue plug into the blue connection cn13 on pcb , cut the cables off the other plug which was in cn13 which is yellow , and join them on to the cable it will work and set address to unit 1

Re: Hitach on one control
dont change the address!- the interlink cable is about 12 mtr-if it will reach the next unit then great, but if not then joint the cable, only mitsi units need controller addressing

Re: Hitach on one control
hrmm.. our hitachi set free units in australia arent wired that way..
we are installing one at the moment and each RPI indoor unit has its own wall controller - hard wired at the indoor pcb (no blue or yellow plugs)..

Re: Hitach on one control
For individual control of RPI-1.5 FSGE need a wired remote control:
1. PC-2H
or
2. PC-5H
