    Are the French colour blind?

I was asked the other day, whilst walking a newly installed Plant Switch Room with a Site's Chief Engineer.
"Why do the Main Isolators on the Leroy Sumer Panels (no sure of spelling!)
Have handles that are a shade of blue?
When all the Other (U.K. & European) supplied Isolation switches are Red."

I replied jokingly that " The french like to colour co-ordinate their equipment and work to a different set of rules to the rest of us!"

    Is it that simple?

    Hi Grizz
I like the blue handles, Red is so over used , they are only trying to add a bit of color to the switchboards
