Condenser THR on Economized Screw Package

Hello,

I can't seem to remember whether the condenser THR is based on the BHP and Refrigeration TR only in the case of an economized screw. Do I need to account for the economizer load and oil cooling load in the condenser THR as well? i.e I have 280 BHP/80 TR Capacity, plus 30 TR Economizer and 20 TR Oil cooling. Total THR is?

you need to calculate condenser for all loads like ... power of electrical motor, refrigeration load, economizer load, oil cooling load in case of refrigerant oil cooler ... it is the only way to reject total heat back to the mother nature .... of course with some addition in capacity due to fouling factor ...

of course if you have water oil cooler it is not added to condenser capacity ...

If oil cooling water have separate water tank and cooling tower, oil cooling load should not be included. If common water tank used for oil cooling and for evaporative condensers, oil cooling load should be included.
