Daweoo Freezer Problems

Hi,

I hoping someone can help find the problem with my Daweoo Side by Side model FRN-U20DB.

The problem I'm having is the freezer section of the fridge is not getting cold enough, the bottom part is fine but the top where the ice cube maker is not cold enough to make ice cubes and there is water sitting in the ice cube tray. Tseted the fan with an external 13v supply and it works no problem so i have ruled this out, moved on to the freezer stat and found that i could not remove this part for some reason.

Could any engineeers out there advise on a procedure of removing the Sensor so i can test the resistace with a multi-meter and of the values i should be reading of a working sensor.

Any help would be appreciated.
