chiller air duct
Dear all,
I'm working on an enquiry which requires the room to maintain at 2 deg C. Length is 60m, Width is 15m and height is 4m.
I'm intending to use air ducting but do not know what type of blowers to use. As far as i know, draw thru type of unit coolers has low static head and not suitable for ducting arrangement.
Anyone has similar experience in this area? Thanks in advance..
Rgds,
Kevin

Re: chiller air duct
Hi Kevin,
For this temperature and this room size, in the past I have used 3-4 evaporators with turbo fans having a long throw, instead of ducts. If the blower coil supplier cannot ensure the 15 m throw, then place them on both sides, but not directly opposite each other of course.
