The light transformer gets power from the control

    Re: Dixell control Light issue

Had an issue with husky bottle coolers with led tubes, ended up replacing the fitting to fit standard 8 and 13w tubes.

Sounds like a Netural aor Grounding problem. Also mabey try bypassing the Controler and using a jumper to power the LED transformer.

    Re: Dixell control Light issue

Just like fluorescent lights, some LED light units can cause the small 8A relays found in most controllers to stick, fully or partially. That could be what you are seeing.

You don't say which Dixell controller is fitted to this wine cooler but it may be that the controller's light relay is not man enough for the LED light unit you have there.

If the controller is a 32x74mm format then the light relay is probably 8A resistive (3A inductive).

Larger Dixell controllers, like the Wing Series can be ordered with a special 16A light relay designed to handle high inrush currents, and these are recommended for fluorescent and LED lights.

If you are dealing with a 32x74mm controller then that's not an option so fit an external switch and control the lights that way
