    Fieldpiece SMAN3

    Hi all.

Thinking about investing in a Fieldpiece SMAN3 digital manifold. What is the feedback - pros, cons etc? It looks as though it will do all I need (and more).

    Thanks, Graham

    Re: Fieldpiece SMAN3

It has a max pressure rating of 500 psi. If you are going to be working with R-410a you will need a higher range as the high pressure cut-outs are set around 610 psi with a cut-in around 500 psi. The gauges may be used for R-410a but only under normal operating conditions. How would you know that without first putting the gauges on!?!

Hi passandscore. Thanks for your reply and I appreciate the comments. According to Fieldpiece the max pressure is 800psi, but instrument is scaled to 500psi. Most of my work (at the moment) is R134a based, so not a major issue.
I particularly like the vacuum alarm and timer.
This will be my first digital gauges after more than 40 years of using analogues!!
