Evaporator CTD

Hi Folks, have just posted this thread on commercial but on reflection it would be more at home here.
What is "degrees CTD" in relation to evaporator capacity (watts)

Usually CTD is referring to warmest - coldest product within a space, such as a reach-in or merchandiser. Unless mistaken nothing to do with evaporator, but more to do with air movement within the space. "Core temperature difference"
