Lightbulb Compressor Size + Innovative PVC Curtain design?

    Hi guys,

new user here, long time reader.

I have learnt much from these forums to date and thought you guys might be of help for my questions below!

    1. Roughly what size compressor would I require for the below:

    Cubic Meters: 120
    Holding temperature: -18 Degrees Celsius.
    Panels: PIR 150mm
    Doors: PIR 150mm
Use: majority of the time it will only be used to hold 3.5 tonne of seafood. The seafood will enter the Cool Room already frozen. However during busy season (summer), it may hold up to 12 tonne of seafood.

    2. What do you guys think about having a sliding PVC curtain to essentialy "split" the room in half to 60 CBM during winter (quiete season). Would I be correct to think that this would reduce a lot of load on the compressor on a otherwise 3/4 empty cool room, and would also save me a lot of $ on electricity and wear on the compressor?

    Thanks,

    Seafood78

    Hi guys,

Forgot to mention the idea is to have the sliding curtain installed on a rail in the middle of the cool room, so that it can be "closed up" during winter (quiet season) , and "opened up" during summer (busy season).
