    Beko Fridge Freezer Problem

    Hello,

We've got a just under 2 year old*BEKO*CDA43FS/2 which yesterday has started to freeze the contents of the*fridge*compartment .
The thermosat is mounted on the top of the fridge and is on a small PCB.
I Changed that and it hasn’t made any difference.

I'm hoping that this could be a simple and quick fix!

    Many Thanks in advance.
    Thanks. Ron.

    Re: Beko Fridge Freezer Problem

Does this model have the fan in the freezer and a damper that opens and closes to allow cool air to the fridge compartment. If so perhaps the damper is sticking? You can always contact BEKO direct and there technical service should be able to walk you through it.

    Re: Beko Fridge Freezer Problem

Hi.I cant see a damper like you said.
I contacted Beko and they said it could be the relay on the control P.C.B. sticking, or the temperature sensor has come away from the evaporator so it isn't sensing. I unplugged the sensor from the control pcb and the compressor stopped. 2 hours later ( compressor was cool) plugged sensor back in and it started again.
So I personally think it is a sensor problem.
Any thoughts/ experience of changing them.
    Thanks.
    Ron.
