    AMESim AC model (R718)

    Hi,

I'm developing a model of a vapor compression system that uses R718 (water) as refrigerant, I've calculated that the mass flux through the evaporator should be approximately 0.0104 kg/s at a pressure of 0.01 bar to develop a temperature of 7C. However, I couldn't achieve the mass flux due to some geometric characteristic of the evaporator. The rotary speed of the pump is 2000 rpm and the pressure and enthalpy at the evaporator inlet is 0.01 bar and 206.9 kj/kg. The following images are the system and the parameters of the evaporator and the pump.

    Many Thanks,

    Rodrigo.

    Hi Rod.
    Welcome to the forum.
    What is your question exactly?
Only as a spanner jockey most of what you are saying washes over me!
I think you need the development engineers or the thermodynamic engineers forum!
It's certainly outside of my comfort zone anyway.
Good luck, with whatever it is that you are asking?

    Re: AMESim AC model (R718)

    Hi,

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion. I was hoping to know whitch of the evaporator parameters would provide more influence (and concequetly increase) on the mass flux at the evaporator. The parameters that I can change are shown in the tables in the beginning of this thread.

    Rodrigo.
