has anyone else had problems with employment agencies , I tried a few just after Christmas it was a nightmare you would get a call about a job a brief job description from someone who knows nothing about the trade and probably used to work in telesales you would send your cv then nothing . For weeks then they are shocked when they ring up out of the blue and you tell them no thanks I have a job . I think they devalue our job which takes at least five years of hard graft to get to be a half decent engineer

yeah to be honest they are a waste of space, I got a call out of the blue after an agency picking up my c.v. From c.v. Library after 2years err I've had the same problems as yourself so I share your annoyance

In got a job through Ashbury Associates. They seemed alright, no messing about, returned calls, etc, but in my case I approached them about a job they advertised not the other way round.

Roger Price of Ashbury has been around a long time in refrigeration recruitment and is pretty good used him way back in 1986 and 2002 but back then jobs were aplenty different world now I'm afraid.

there was one called best connection they wanted a fully qualified engineer to do service and install for 8.50 a hour shocking
