    Daikin heatpump

Hi was doing a service on a daikin air to water heat pump ,only problem I noticed was the large coil of refrigeration pipes behind the outside unit, I know the unit needs a certain amount of refrigerant (thus extra pipe)for correct operation but will the large coil of pipes have an effect on the refrigerant

    Re: Daikin heatpump

If you give us a model number we "could" check the manual to see...

But generally, the unit should cope with even the shortest of piperun, normally they only get problems when the maximum pipe length is exceeded.
Perhaps the installer didn't bring his pipe cuter???
