    407C Pressures and Temps

Just had a a Baily unit with a 7.5HP compressor changed over to 407C. This has a seawater cooled condenser. I was looing for help regarding operating temps and pressures. I am finding that the suction pressure is remaining low (42PSI) and the high side around (240). It appears the system has the proper charge and is cooling the space.

Any help to put me the the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

What are your Air on/Air off temps?

What is your EWT and LWT?

Does the system have a fixed expansion device, or a TEV?

    Thank you for the response.

Air On and Air Off refers to in and out of the coil? If so it is 80F and 65F.

The EWT is 85F and the LWT is 96F.

A TXV has replaced a capillary tube device.

The high side pressure seems ok for the water cooled condenser. May need to vrify the TXV capacity at this condition w.r.t compressor capacity. What is the super heat ?
