    Distributed computing projects.

Howdy all, was just wondering if there was any folding teams going on here at RE, and if not, why not

Would there be any interest in an RE folding team say with stanfords folding at home projects.

For those that have no idea what Im rambling on about, here is a little bit of light reading into the help that our computer can offer.

don't know about team work but I'm not averse to a bit of folding - spread, fold, etc.etc

    Obvoiusly - no offense intended

    Re: Distributed computing projects.

I run folding@home on my PCs.
Just the same, Tiffany runs folding@home on the quad Britney server that she helped build. That was apperantly done in honor of a friend's mother who passed away due to breast cancer. As a side benefit, the load on the server's compressor is kept mostly constant so it stays at one speed. Oh, and should I mention that someone actually taped a pink ribbon to the front of the server?
