    Pack/rack oil problem

Have been having problems with and LT pack with 3 reciprocating comps on 404a , the pack was retro fitted from R408a without any problems . One of the compressors has a dedicated liquid/suction line to an ice cream freezer. The other two comps are give problems with oil fail , there's plenty of oil, in the reservoir but the two compressors are throwing out oil into the discharge goodo but the regulator (ESK mechanical) isn't allowing oil in. There's a pressure difference between the reservoir and the regulator so there's no problem with flow. Any questions ? suction 0.3 bar discharge 14 bar

    Re: Pack/rack oil problem

The ESK data recommends a differential pressure of 1.5 bar and a maximum of 6.5.

Also, of course, are they blocked or sticking floats?

Could be Plugged Regulator or Check for a Pressurized Crankcase.
