Digital refrigeration manifold
Hi all,
I may be wrong here but is there a digital manifold set on the market which measures real time super heat and subcooling but without the need of pipe clamps?
I've been told that they are very expensive and they do not need the pipe clamps to take pipe temperatures! This I find hard to believe as surely you need your pipe temperature clamps to record the temperature?
I have seen Testo manifolds which look smart and are German made so won't break and also Refco make a set but both manufacturers supply pipe clamps for temperature reading through out there ranges!
Thought I'd ask on here
Cheers

Re: Digital refrigeration manifold
They all need a pipe clamp to measure superheat or subcooling, otherwise all they can show is the saturation temperature that corresponds with the pressure afaik.
Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)
