A6 error, daikin, fan rotates, chances it's just the fan?
My Daikin inverter unit has an A6 error, which is an indoor fan problem.
I've taken the unit apart, the fan rotates fine with no power, but does nothing with the power on.
The manual tells me to test the voltages then possibly replace the fan, then the PCB, or both.
I want to know if anyone has ever come across a faulty fan, or if I'm wasting my time and it's almost certainly the indoor PCB? I don't suppose there is a certain way to test the indoor PCB by going though functions on the remote maybe, maybe some functions don't work when the PCB is at fault?
Thanks!

try spinning the fan quickly by hand once the louvres open , indoor motor is around 60-80 quid, indoor pcb is about 80 quid too- tricky to replace the fan motor, but worth doing

In any of the cases was the fan at fault? I just can't imagine the fan can easily ever fail.
