    Ideas for high head ( dirty condenser) control

    I would like a simple way to turn on warning light when head presure rises due to a dirty condensing coil. Cant seem to find a make on rise HPC. that would be to easy. I could do it with a relay and a HPC but that seems over the top. Any Ideas??
    Oh by the way. Its good to be back , an injury had me sidelined for a while. Kengineering (~);-}

    Pretty sure the Ranco 016 style hp switches have a change over contact, same as when used as fan cycling switch for head pressure control. I know the lp ones do because i use the cahnge over on pumpdown to run th cch on some systems.

    You could go manual reset if you wanted the light to stay on if i'm correct.

    Pleased you are back at work!

    Any adjustable manual reset high pressure switch will do the job Ken...
    Have a look for Ranco, Parker or Johnson controls http://www.americanhvacparts.com/c-2...s.aspx#Filter=[pagenum=2*Sort=3*ava=0]

    i have seen a simple one on a compressed air drier,it has a manual reset built in but not sure who makes it but it screws onto a 1/4 flare schrader and would be able to work a light without getting too complicated.
