    Service Advice / work

    Hi,

I am due to receive a Taylor 152-40 soft serve machine this week. I want to have it serviced and be shown the basics involved in maintenance of this machine. My business (roller skating rink) is based in Manchester (Ashton under lyne). I am looking for a engineer to do this. And also service my current air con unit (bergdorf only 8 months old )and quote me to install 1 or 2 extra air con units (second hand units pref at least 40000btu).

I appreciate these may be two separate specialities. If you can do one or both please let me know.

    Local company preferably.

Hope im posting in the correct area.

Please PM me details and i will be in touch

    Thanks Tony

I'm overwhelmed by the responses. Obviously all local refrigeration engineers are rammed with work.

    Hi Tony,

This forum is mostly used by people in the trade to discuss problems with equipment and keep up with technology as it moves on.

Many of us are employed and so are not in a position to tout for new work without our employers say so...

Soft serve ice cream machines are quite specialist, i have only worked on one in 20 years and am not looking to repeat the experience.

I've never heard of Bergdorf air con and the fact its only 8 month old rings two alarm bells, the cheap **** equipment/customer alarm bell and the 8month old and not calling the installing company alarm bell (not paid bill???). I mean no offence to you Tony but these are the sorts of things that go through a fridgies head given the facts you have presented after having the benefit of dealing with thousands of customers both good and bad.

The next nail in the cheap @ss coffin is wanting second hand equipment.

I am in no way trying to imply anything bad about your business and the way you run it, but in these dire finacial times many here have been burnt and you have not helped your case by giving the impression you can't afford to have the work done propperly.

Why not phone around a few local companies or in the case of your ice cream machine talk to the manufacturers and ask the details of their nearest agent.
Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)
