    Danfoss Compressor

    Hello,

Can anyone helping in finding what type of compressor is the BD35F Danfoss compressor? i.e. is it reciprocating/ scrol type etc? Finding it difficult to find this information. If you know of this please can you give some source of the information, it would be very helpful as I can find soo much info but i'm still not sure on this basic point.
    Thank you

    Re: Danfoss Compressor

Thanks for that. I have read through that and some other versions, but cannot find where it says the type of compressor being used. Is there an indirect way of discovering this?

    OK,
This might be a bit old fashioned but have you tried asking Danfoss themselves?

    Re: Danfoss Compressor

It is a single piston compressor, click this link for a schematic and a cut open unit where you can see the connecting rod of the crankshaft/piston.

    Re: Danfoss Compressor

Brian, that's excellent thank you very much, read through the document. i couldn't tell if it was 100% a piston type compressor from that image, but there was another link on that page which had another picture and i compared back to that other cut-through and i am convinced you are correct 100% now, thanks.

Viking, thanks for the number, I did try ringing them but can't on the number i used and that one too, there might be another i can, i will try again.

1mikee, you are right the new company is Secop.

Thank you for all the help.

    For future reference:
The Danfoss BD35F is a single piston reciprocating compressor, according to Brian_UK's findings and clarified with this cut-through image:
