    AC rates & Charges

    Hi Guys,
well...got let go from my firm due to lack of work, last one in first one out and all that cr*p...

So i am going on my own as I have always aimed for and now seems to be the most opportune time but.....
I would appreciate an idea of roughly what rates should be charged...the norm in my area for an engineer and mate is around £275 -£300 a day...seems ok...so what should i charge for just an engineer...i dont want to be too cheap or blindingly expensive. I have alot of contacts who are all asking what my engineer only rate is and i get that if i am either too cheap then eveyone will want to use me or no one if i am too expensive, so just want to be in the ball park really.

Thanks for repsonse in advance it would be helpful..
