    Vibration pads



    Does anybody have any web sites explaining why we fit vibration pads on to the outdoor units I can,t find any as I need to show a client and he says there no need for them.

    Simply answer is that they stop the transmission of mechanical noise through the structure.

    This sums it up...if the customer doesn't take your advice i would document it and fit as he requests. If and when you get called back to a noisy unit you can charge for the service of fitting some pads. If people won't listen they deserve to pay
