Daikin FTXS50j
Hello from Croatia
Is the Daikin FTXS50J made by Gree Electric? Because I read that Gree makes the Daikin air con and I am wondering does it makes all models of Daikin or just small ones.
Thanks

Re: Daikin FTXS50j
Gree make all the Daikin models in China. They have a dedicated line within their plant specifically for Daikin. European Daikin units are assembled in - I think - Czech Rebublic.
Personally I like the Gree models that are available here in the Canary Islands. Installed loads and not had one problem. And - for example when you remove the carcase - its the whole carcase, not just the front cover. Makes installation - especially when the connections are behind the unit - a whole lot easier. The only others that I know I can do this with is Daikin and some Fujitsu/General multi interior units.

Errr, so Gree are quite cheap, and Daikin are enormously expensive.
Surely Daikin are not ripping us off with their sky-high prices, eh?
