Hi Rudi,
Seeing as R409A was a drop in for R12 you might want to confirm you still have mineral oil in the system then take your pick.
Found this if it helps http://www.acr-news.com/news/news.as...drop-in+centre
Not used anything other than R409A so can't suggest anything myself.
Cheers, Andy.Health and safety first..........unless I'm in a hurry.

Re: Chillers with R409a can be replace with what type of refrigerant?
Hi Rudi
I've been replacing R409a and R409b with R426a and R437a MO not had any problems, would advise an oil change but have had no problems with the original mineral, I do prefer to change to RH32L or RH68L depending on unit, I see your in Southampton, Id ask one of the reefer lads at the docks they would have been pulling all of the R409a out of the shipping containers by end of last year I’m shore we used R426a, I can’t remember why I stated using R437a on my kit,
PS
If you have to do any R22 retro’s and you use R422d although its ment to be a drop in would advise you get as much oil out as pos and replace with RH68L
I have somewere the old tetro fit data sheet I can scan if you what or have a look here http://www.climalife.dehon.com/r-437a/product/show/id/580
Cheers Leigh
