Foster query
Just looked at a Foster freezer cab model LR400ADU apparently taking a trip switch out every few hours. Guessed it could be a defrost heater u.s. but there is no manual defrost initiator on the control (Foster CDC1L). I held in the bottom two buttons on control and sure enough the trip went out after a few seconds. Is this how you initiate a defrost on this model? Had no time to investigate more- returning in the morning, any help appreciated.

Re: Foster query
No, its taking the trip out on the supply board which supplies all the sockets in the kitchen.

Re: Foster query
I agree with Mr Magic, The first thing I would do it disconnect the heater wires and test with a meter.

Re: Foster query
if you push the
1/2 snowflake +1/2 water drop button
plus the
hand/ v button
that should initiate a defrost
cheers
