Air Handling Unit Design help please?
Hello everyone, i have a project which is design and optimization of an air handling unit. Volume flow rate 19440 m3/hour and there are some pressure drop boundary conditions for filter , coils etc.. My question is How i'm going to start ? Firstly i started to calculate pressure drop for every module but i don't know air velocity . secondly i select a fan then i calculate pressure drop but i'm not sure that my fan can overcome pressure drops inside AHU. Also , cross sectional velocity in AHU must not exceed 2.5 m/s

From 19440 cu.m/hr with max 2.5m/s the cross sectional area of the AHU must be greater than 2.16sq.m.
