    DCE33 Scotsman Help

I have a DCE33 Scotsman that quit making ice, after a little problem solving I discovered that the timer was running continuously which made the cycle take 8 minutes to revolve instead 30 minutes as the book suggests. Thinking it may be due to the cube sizer (11-0503-21) could be the culprit, but wondering if there is a way to check the one in place to see, or could something else be causing the problem?

During normal operation the timer motor should only start turning when the ice thermostat setpoint is reached, or if it's still in a harvest cycle. At the end of a harvest cycle the timer should stop.
Generally, if the timer motor is running the ice thermostat is okay. If the timer runs during the freeze cycle, there must be power going to the motor so you need to check where it's coming from. My guess would be one of the timer microswitches is faulty in which case you need to replace the timer.
