Which refrigerant not to use in a condenser which is on a roof directly about offices

Hi I'm doing a refrigeration and air conditioning course and I have an exam coming up shortly,I was wondering if anyone could help me find the answere to a question that I know may well come up.
Q: Which refrigerant has would you not use if the condenser was on a roof directly above Some offices

Any ideas I thought it may be propane or R407a

Is it specifically relating to synthetic refrigerants?

If not, Ammonia might be the answer they're looking for.

2079 is not a legal requirement when working with Ammonia.
Ammonia is not covered as it is not a "F" gas.
However only an idiot would allow someone without at least a safe handling certificate to work with it.

I must admit it is not a straight forward question!
If we are talking about a rooftop chiller?
The use of Ammonia is quite rare, although I can think of some chillers that run on ammonia.
Then perhaps any of the propane based refrigerants would be a more likely answer?
Again there are some that use these.
    An interesting question.
I would like to know what the answer is and more importantly why?
If the answer is indeed Ammonia, then why not use it?
I suspect it is actually a assumption based upon the lack of knowledge!

Propane maybe (any HC)? That and Ammonia, they are heavier than air
so possibly they could end up inside the office if leaked out.

The answer certainly ain't ammonia. It would be any refrigerant that was heavier than air...

Some things never change,a vague question with multiple angles to approach from but only the answer on their correction sheet will be correct.

to add more controversy but not the answer original poster seeks

a major supermarket has been installing hc chillers on its roofs

and have seen a number of ammonia chillers on roofs of factories [plasic moulding/tooling/drinks/chocolate/ect]

f-gas's common place is the roof

maybe the answer is water, never seen an absorber on the roof
