    changing a comp from R22 to R290

I have an R410 scroll that I want to change to R290. What is the best way to calculate the new performance compared to the R410?

Don't think i'll be much help but R290 is a substitute for R22. I don't know of a formula for R410a to R290 except to use PT chart. Your going to drop in performance due to lower working pressures and of course, mineral oil only.

I know I have to change out the POE for mineral oil but I wondered if there was any structural differences in the comp other than the fact it can take a higher pressure than R22. I suppose I could go on Coolpack to look at the difference but given the amount of learning needed to get anywhere with Coolpack (and my alzhimers like memory), what little I know if it would have to be relearned, uggg.
