Free labour to gain experience

Hi all, I have recently been made redundant from the Army and am finding it hard to find anyone that would take me on with my lack of experience. (fair enough)

I have these qualifications:

Business Edge LTD 2012:
• C & G 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 7543 Certification
• 7543 Certificate in M.o.bile Air Conditioning Systems
• F-Gas J11 Scheme
• Refrigerant F-gas Safe Handling
• Commercial J05 Scheme
• J05 Scheme Pipework and Brazing

What I have been thinking of doing is seeing if there are any companies in the South Yorkshire area that would take me on for a couple of days a week with one of their Engineers to learn and gain some experience. Could any people on here recommend anybody that would do this?

Just very eager to get working in this industry. I have emailed companies (with my cv) but no luck.
