Delta T for chiller, AHU & district cooling systems

Hi all..
Can anyone please explain me the concept of delta T & what delta T shall be considered for Chillers, Ahu & district cooling systems?

delta T is the temp difference between the chilled water inlet and outlet.
The pipe size depends on this value.
Generally this value is 12, for hich the water requirement is 2.4GPM/TR.
And, for delta T 10, the water requirement is 2GPM/TR..

What value for delta T to choose entirely depends on the clients budget. . I think, since even I have not though about it. In mu concept, at 10 delta T, there would be considerble savings in pipe qty.
