Domestic Freezer troubles...
Good Evening all!
I just got home to discover my freezer has a problem...
The compressor starts up and runs for about half a second before cutting out again. When I've attached my gauges, the pressures read about 1.4 Bar and the temperature in the freezer is -4.7.
It runs on R134a.
I don't have a reclaim unit to hand, so I'm not sure weather its short of gas, or theres a fault with the compressor, which doesn't run long enough for me to see if its seized!
Any ideas?
Thanks!

get a clip on ammeter to check the comp load, test windings on pot identify common ,start, run- highest resistance accross start/run winding, next highest reading is your common/start, should be typically 2-40 ohms accross any 2 pins, cheapest option is replace the relay and klixon, take a piccy of the pot as you will need the make, model, obviously lbp- lowback pressure, if your pot is siezed it will buzz on start up then klick out on klixon, then 15 mins later when its cooled it will click and try again
