Have a doubt about BALTIMORE TSU ICE TANKS.

On Baltimore catalogue shows that the same ice tank has different storage capacity if working with circulated pump feed or gravity flooded. I mean, for example one tank with a storage capacity of 5.000 kW.h (54.000 kg of ice) working with pump circulation will have more storage than if it would be feed by gravity flooded (4.800 kW.h, for example), according with catalogue. What's the sense of that?

I understand that if the regimen conditions (evaporating temperature) are the same, the tank feed by pump circulation will take less time to ice construction since the internal heat transmission can be a little higher (and consequently a little higher capacity kW can be achieved) but I don't see the connection with the (physical) maximum ice storage capability around the evaporator pipes.

Any one have any hint?
