    Don't need a vac pump!

We're doing another one of those ac to cellar conversions. I bought a unit of Ebay and was asking the chap about it.

1 Is it those quick fit connectors?
    No standard flare type connectors
2 But you say it doesn't need a vac pump
No, as it's r410a it works at higher pressure and any air is compressed more and hence doesn't cause any harm
3 Don't I need to be certified to do this?
No you do not need to be F-gas registered as you are not working with the gas. The gas in in the unit and only released when you open the valves
    4 What if I have a leak
You won't as the connections are very good.
    5 I'll have it!
    cool

    What do we do?
Everyone spouts on about having to be certificated for this and that!

    Then this Happens!

    What can be done?

Are they actually breaking any laws by selling them?
    I am not so sure.

When someone gets hurt, you gets the blame ?

    Interesting post RB.

    Spoilt my day mind!
