comms link from unit to controller- easiest way is turn the unit off for 20 seconds, power it up, if it still shows no link then ur gonna haveto check the 6 core comms able to the controller- theres a rj45 telephone plug connections , also ensure the cable isnt near any power cables as it can ge interference,

we isolated power of the unit for maintance nearly 3 hrs later we on the power. after that it stared showing no link on display (DC 50 ). we checked for cable loose connection .
we had spare controller connected we found disply back to normal.
IS THIS THE PROBLEM WITH THE CONTROLLER OR THE COMMUNICATION CABLE .
WE HAD PREVIOS HISTORY OF THIS UNIT HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM.

    Anish.
Install monkey has a valid point.
Also is the controller plugged into J14? Which is for the DC50 and J15 is for the DS50!
And J10 on your BM50 serial card?
    Just a thought.

Re: Lennox chiller climatic controller alarm

j10 on the bm50 (outstation) plugs onto the dt50 (amplifier board) then the dc50 plugs in on A
ds50 (service tool) plugs in on C
unplug ur dc50 test voltage on the 6 screw terminals
    0 +ve shield
    1 +vrl 30v dc
    2 grd
    3 rx-/tx-
    4 rx+/tx+
    5 grd
    6 +vrl 30vdc
on the 2 pins ur getting 30vdc on plug in the cable for the dc50 and recheck ur 30vdc is still there- if not ur comms cable is grounding- check the connections at each end.
the dc 50 can be hardwired in on the 1-6 screw termnals on the dt50.
there are also some checks for a watchdog test to check the comms baud rate etc- will e mail you a manual for a pco controller and a chiller manual
