Hotpoint FZ175 Freezer - No Power

I have a 4 year old Hotpoint FZ175 freezer with no power.

The green power light does switch on. Nor do I hear the compressor running and everything inside the freezer has thawed

I plugged a kettle into the same power socket, the kettle works so there is power coming from the socket.

I changed the fuse like for like, still no power.

I assume some sort of electrical fault on the freezer, what would be the most common item to fail?

I'm willing to get my hands dirty to fix the freezer, so any and all suggestions are welcome.

I don't think I can edit the post so I will correct myself. The power light does NOT switch on.

Yes I changed the fuse in the freezer's plug, as mentioned in my first post.

Re: Hotpoint FZ175 Freezer - No Power

Thanks tonto33. I see the pcb but I can't seem to remove one of the connectors, it has 7 wires and is the largest of all the connectors. Should I use brute force or is there a clip I should be looking for?

I checked out the site you recommend but there is only a 33% chance of success? That doesn't sound good to me. Where can I buy a new pcb? What numbers should I be looking for on the pcb to make sure I find the same model?
