    Ebay selling illegal goods!

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=160863324240

what chance do we stand if ebay trades in illegal goods?

Just to add I have reported this to both DEFRA and watchdog.. Not that anything will happen of course!

If you look back in his selling history, you will notice he sold R404a in disposable type cylinders. At least the contents are not illegal!!

I have in the past reported these things to eBay and they have been pulled.

pulled after the sale had ended although I had warned them at least a day before. I suspect they are just trying to cover their arses but hopefull defra will refer them to the cps (some hope of course)

Had contact from DEFRA who said same thing "listing pulled" luckily I had inquired to chappy about the quantity and the listing is within the email which gave his ebay details and the listing number.. Forwarded it onto DEFRA for them to follow up so let's see..

I put a unopened midi of virgin R22 that I aquired a couple of years ago on ebay, never said it was R22 in the ad just called it refrigerant and put on a photo off the front of the bottle. Anyway some climate concerns or something like that told me to remove it. Still in my garage and the first person to give me £300 for it can have it. To the letter of the law illegal, but lets face it they are still selling the same stuff but with recycled painted on the bottle. Obviously il advise whoever gets it to return it to a wholesalers.

Let's hope its somebody who's honest that buys it off you, otherwise they might paint recycled or replacement on it!
