    Clivet Chiller fault

    Hi all,

just took over new site with 2 identical Clivet water chillers approx 5 years old. I havent got the model number to hand.
Upon arrival i found 1 chiller in fault and not running. fault is E 107 fan/pump thermal cut out alarm. This fault would not reset. Found overload for all 5 condenser fans tripped (22amps) reset and it tripped. reset again and stayed on but the alarm wont reset on controller. I wont be back there til next week and was just wondering on any ideas??
Condenser fan motors are 3 phase and one cable goes to junction box from control panel and then feeds all fans.
Is there thermal protection on these fans and one is dodgy?

Many thanks not much experience on clivet chillers,
    Gary

    Hi Gary.
Basically if the fault is not isolated your chiller could still be locked out.
You should have a reference to which circuit is causing the issue as well?
If not then start metering your condenser fans. Or disconnecting them, to identify which is causing the issue.

All fans' inner thermal contacts may be connected in series, at least one is opened.
