Heat Pump on roof runing a Commercial Walk in Cooler?

I was on a job and found a residential Heat pump condensing unit being used to run two evaporators in a walk in cooler. I never seen this before and was wondering what is the difference between a Residential Condensing Unit and a Commercial Condensing unit made for commercial coolers? Also has anyone ever seen this before? It was working, but I would think it wouldn't last long.

I've seen it done a few times, may need the addition of a liquid reciever and a hard start kit but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do...

(have a customer still running something similar that i condenmed ten years ago!)
