    Type of freezer used in the attached picture



    Can somebody please tell me what type of freezing technology is used for forming the ice blocks shown in the following pictures ?
    I know that the freezing process has to be fast enough to prevent the formation of ice crystals. The end product is the yellow ice blocks.

    Is it blast freezing ? Inside the freezer, what type of liquid is that ?

    looks like a glycol bath and immersing the product cylinders into the glycol. no air over cooling.

    product will be yellow to start with? not water?
