Forum format question-help!

It has been over a yr since the format was changed and I doubt anyone cares about this but me. I find it much harder to use the forum, I can't scan the pages as well; and that left hand column isn't helping any, so I haven't been back much. There is an inch of wasted space in green on both sides of my screen. Comments?

Your lucky I got 3 1/2" green on left & right - could adjust screen for tab but can't be bothered. I don't even look at the left colum, it is a little harder to utilise but it has stopped those nasty spammers from making our forum almost unusable. So thank the spammers. Thanks spammers.

It doesn't seem to load as well, and sometimes loads multiple copies of same page so you can't click back, doesn't seem to be as busy either with less interesting technical problems.

But its free and people here are much nicer than on other forums!

I just click on the 'whats new?' at the top of the page for the latest posts.

Hi guys.
If you are using IE. then you can adjust the screen size by clicking View - Zoom - Click on one of the alternatives and check out the resize values.
Mine is running on custom 110%.

i would assume other browsers are similar?
I am on IE8.
