    freeze point of chiller barrel ?



    could someone explain to me when does an evaporator or chiller barrel start to freeze up.
    on r-22 ? r-22 starts to boil at 32 deg f @ 58psi correct? but when we have 58 psi suction pres. the temp of the pipe is arround 42 deg f . (10 deg superheat) im confused

    where are you measuring the temp?
