    how to properly charging system



    hi
    after vacuuming system
    if i want to charge it
    what is the best way
    as example
    if i have 2 ton window type ac and r22
    some people say
    i must charge it with liquid in the beginning then after turning it i must charge it with vapor only
    other say i must charge it with vapor when unit is off
    then after turning on it i can charge with liquid and vapour
    so what is the properly way to charge ac
    others say

    sorry the link you put is dazed me
    ok if you dont mind
    i am doing this charging by this way
    when unit is off i charge unit with liquid only by weight through suction line
    then after turning on unit its suction pressure is 60 or 70 psi
    and i found no need to add r22 because suction line is being very cold which mean unit has required quantity of *****
    what is your opinion

    if you can fit gauges to both sides of the system let liquid in the high side until you cannot get any more in-observe the weight charged- system will stop taking in liq,shut gauges and start system- open low side and charge vapour slowly to finalise the charge- if needed you can add liquid in the suction line to get all the charge in but do it slowly .
