    converting a/c unit to accept solar power



    Hi any technical issues to stop you from converting a traditional a/c split unit to accept power from solar panels .. What would it require to do it ?????????

    no useful info on that site need some from other sources.. who has info on solar inverters this is what is required to convert a conventional water heater/ a/c etc ??

    Im not sure what your asking...

    You want to use solar PV panels to power your AC unit...instead of coming off the national power grid?

    Forget it........

    Pump your power into the grid, net meter it, and draw it out for the AC. Anything else is waaaayyyyy to complicated.

    Kompulsa, if he has not blown himself up yet, might have tried it.
