DAIKIN FTXS50FVMA SERVICE MANUAL Operation Issue

    Hi....

Looked around but couldnt find any thing on this sstem anwhere.I am looking for the service manual for FTXS50 Series F Service Manual.

    Operatin Conditions -

    R410
    Ambient

    40-45C Dry
    5-10 Wet

Running it on test mode bypassing all sensors It was at 9.5amps and sUtion of 125 psi.(System dead 300 psi)

Indoor unit did not go down below 21.2*C .

Daikin wants it to go down to 15*c

Daikin rests the problem at contamination of the gas (God alone knows how). They wish to vent the gas nitrogen flush it vaccum it for 30 min anf fill it up again..... .

Given the operatin conditions I peg the probem at ambient conditions...

    Any Suggestions...

Try the Daikin Extranet, it has the 'F' series, you will need to register with the site.

Doesn't sound like a mechanical problem. Perhaps that is why Daikin is looking at refrigerant contamination. As long as the fans are working properly and the coils are clean, the problem may lie in the piping precautions during installation and the start-up procedures.

Recommend using a digital vacuum gauge for a proper evacuation of moisture. Time is not the answer to removing moisture content from refrigeration systems. The only way to really know if a system is dry is by measuring. The evacuation process has three steps. With the final step looking for 500 microns (approx .66 torr) and holding for 30 minutes (max 20% rise).

TIPS: Change the vacuum pump oil each time. Use a 3/8 inch hose or better yet a 3/8 inch copper tube between the gauge port and the system. This will decrease the evacuation time by 30%. With open systems (compressor open to vacuum), do not go below 500 microns otherwise the oil will fractionate.

Let's us know how things turn out for you.
