    Paint - Jacket cooling

    Dear all,
    As referred to the attached drawing, We have to cool down the 1500 kg of paint from 60°C to 30°C with in 2 hrs. This is the customer requirement. Can I know how to calculate. Thanks in advance.

    You need to know what the specific heat capacity of the paint is to do any calculations.

    Ask client how much heat is applied to heat the paint and what time period. Will give some indication of how long it will take to cool.

    Good link IM but that only gives a 'Conductivity' example, i.e. when the paint is applied to a suface.

    We also don't know if the paint is water based or solvent, so even the link can't be used.

    I think we need more information from the OP
