Panic, the country can't cope with this fine weather.

The roads will be melting next.

    Re: Weather

Speaking of weather, there were complaints a year ago or more about coils freezing up and someone was talking about getting -20 in some places in Scotland. I mentioned this to some other people and was taken down a notch when the dude posted historical weather data showing it didn't get lower than -6 or 7 in the last couple of years.

Now I am confused. Does anyone have a recolection of -20C anywhere in the UK in the last couple of years?

what is the max ambient most condensor coils are designed for in the uk im sure its 32 deg is it?
obviously when designing systems they have to take this into consideration its always the older systems that struggle the most.

    Re: Weather

And here I am complaining it reached a low of 13C. I lived in a town where the record high was 42.75C, not a national record ( that is around 43.5C). In winter we were watching CNN and there was a piece of a heatwave in London, 31C, poms dying of heatstroke etc, bathing in fountains and such like. Asked when it was 31C there, and was told it was at 8AM. We had tourists come down from the Highveldt and drop dead from heatstroke, whilst us living there were complaining about the cold and wearing jerseys. Only town where the municipal pool was closed because the water hit 50C.

35 C and 90% humidity? Oh Please.... You are so far North that Santa Claus hibernates there on his months off
Here i am shivering in the mornings, with 3 degrees C inside, and outside of my pad.
No such thing as central heating in Queensland homes. Brrrrrr!
